(page 1 of 1)I don't get it. I've submitted a large library of articles this week and everyone is being rejected with no explanation why. I have written for on the internet for years, what's going on? It would be nice to have an explanation, even a minimal review from the staff. Is this just a scam to waste people's time?
You don't say in your guidelines whether you want articles in 2nd or 3rd person. Is that the problem with mine? How about sending me an answer instead of a form letter. I'd just as soon delete all my articles today as sit here waiting for them all to be rejected. Please have some consideration for your writers.
It would be nice if Seed.com implemented a button where the writer can delete her or his work after the work sits in the pending approval stage for longer than x amount of weeks. The writer can shop the deleted piece around to other sites, and the deleted work cuts down on the editors' workload.
Hi Susan,
I'm sorry that this has been your experience. We are in the process of making enhancements to our editorial review system that will result in more direct, personalized editorial feedback. As a writer myself, I know that this is key. You can expect to see quick changes in this area very soon. We're also adding a feature that allows editors to make more specific assignment requests, so that you'll know what the desired voice and tone are, plus more details.
I will also follow up with you apart from here.
Thanks,
Kristi

Thanks for writing. Your idea is an interesting one, and it's one I'll pass along. Do other online content services offer this option?
I can't agree more with what has been said here. I realize they are working on reducing the pending time but weeks on end are really just unacceptable at this point.
I'd rather just delete my items after waiting weeks and sell them to another site instead of them sitting in purgatory.
On the bright side Susan at least you got a response on your pieces and can begin shopping them elsewhere. Many people wait weeks to hear nothing.
Hi Ray --
I'm sorry about the experience you've had with Seed so far. These are still early days for us, so we're still working out the kinks. As you may have seen me reply in other comments, we have largely worked through the backlog and are getting caught up. So, no more 'weeks on end' waiting. How frustrating is that? As a writer myself, I know.
We are also working to have our editors set shorter assignment dates, so that you as creators experience a quicker response time.
Thanks for your patience with us. We're making some big improvements in such a small window of time since our launch. We've just given our editors some great tools and resources needed to make things more speedy and efficient for everyone, so I'm hoping you will try again with us.
Thanks,
Kristi
